Fourth graders at M-NES are working together to create in-depth maps of Virginia!
As part of their 3D Map project, students work in groups to build maps of Virginia that include facts such as the five regions of Virginia, bordering states, popular industries, and more!
Students also focused on the varying geography across the state, building mountains and rivers to show detail.
Students even researched items to 3D print for their map, such as items that represent the region’s main industry.
The project put critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity in motion! Great work, Foxes!
