LCPS Debuts Contingency Plans for Transition
Posted on 12/17/2020

Hello #TeamLCPS!

As we head into the Winter Break, we know many are wondering whether or not our school division is considering a move to fully remote learning. I want to let you know that we continue to have conversations with the Blue Ridge Health District, and at this time we have NO plans at this time to transition to fully remote learning for all students.

However, our team has been proactive and developed plans and procedures so we’re prepared for if we did have to pivot to fully remote learning later this school year. We want to share those plans with you so we’re all on the same page!

Please take a moment to watch this video, which includes many important details:

Additionally, our team has also created a Frequently Asked Questions page, which includes even more details about what our plan entails. You can visit this page by clicking here.

As always, your feedback matters to us! If you have any questions after reading through our FAQ page, please feel free to use the link at the top of our FAQ page to submit a question. Our team will work to get you a response as soon as possible!

#TeamLCPS, thanks for your hard work and support this first semester. Have a fantastic rest of your day!
