Come Sunday, December 3rd, students from Louisa County Public Schools will be rooting extra hard for LCHS graduate and current New York Giants defensive lineman Kerry Wynn to get a sack.

That's because the size 14 pair of cleats he'll be wearing that day versus the Oakland Raiders will feature designs hand-crafted by LCPS students!

Twelve students, two from each division school, were selected to paint anti-bullying and LCPS themes on the pair of blank cleats. The group spent most of Monday planning, designing and painting the cleats.

Wynn will wear the cleats as part of the "My Cleats, My Cause" initiative, which has become an annual tradition in the NFL. For one week during the season, players are allowed to wear shoes featuring designs for causes they support.

Wynn surprised students during a historic, district-wide anti-bullying pep rally last month. He presented the schools with the cleats during the rally.
