Hello #TeamLCPS Families!

As the Director of School Nutrition for Louisa County Public Schools, my top priority is to do everything I can to ensure children all across Louisa County have convenient and nutritious meal options.  So, it is with great excitement that I announce to you that our LCPS Summer Meals Program will be returning once again this summer! Through this program, we are able to serve children ages 2 to 18. Meals are provided at no charge.

Our LCPS Summer Meals Program will begin on June 11th and run through the end of July. Listed below are the meal sites for Summer 2019. All sites will be open five days a week (except where noted) around lunchtime.

Louisa County Library (Open only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)

605 Trailer Village

Jouett Square Apartments

Louisa Town Park

Trevilians Elementary School Mineral Trailer Park

For further details, please text FOOD to 877-877. Please note that this line will not be live until approximately June 7th. Please also view the infographic posted below!

This program is made possible thanks to grants and funding from No Kid Hungry and The Dairy Alliance. Last year, our school division was able to serve more than 6,500 meals! And as was the case last year, we will also be offering various fun activities at our meal sites throughout the summer! Thanks to the incredible generosity and compassion of volunteers, we will be providing books, hosting technology lessons, and more at various times throughout the summer!
